It is necessary to Re-Machine radius and the journal to undersize, according to MAN Diesel or Makers drawings.

Re-machining of the radius and journal to it is free of cracks controlled by Magnaflux-crack test device and hardness controlled with an electronic tester.

Controlled, hand dressed and finally polished

Controlling of the parallel line of the journal according to the main journal by using electronic level-control and hand dressed before the final polishing. The tolerance is max. 0,15 mm per meter. The tolerance of the diameter is maximum 0,03 mm in eight positions.

The restored crankpin journal after machining, super-finishing, controlled by blue-marking, hand dressed and final polishing. The final diameter is -13mm.
